Okay, Not Great
"After 1,200 miles of riding I have some opinions on this shoe. They are mighty durable which I like. They have plenty of room and feel comfortable on my feet. Things I don’t like. They are heavy and a bit too wide. They are difficult to clip out of the pedals because they sit so close to the cranks. I’ve crashed over a few times and my feet remained clipped in the pedals. Never had that happen with any other shoe. They run hot. They feel as if they have zero breath ability. I actually drilled bigger holes into the fabric that helped a bit. They also retain water m. They stayed wet for over two days on a recent bikepacking trip. Afterwards I ended up drilling some drain holes on the bottom sides of the shoes. Hope it helps. They take a bit to get used to walking in because it’s difficult to get the right fit with the velcro strap and boa dial. The heel/ankle gasket slides feels weird when your walking in them And lastly, they aren’t very stiff. After a few hours of riding I found my feet to be very sore. I ended up getting a larger XT pedal which had definitely helped, but added more weight to my set up. These are a definite disappointment for me."
