"I didn’t think any other flat pedal shoe could compare to 5.10 FreeRider Pros — until I gave these Shimano GF4s a try. Right out of the box their connection to the pedal is stellar: amazing ability to pull up on the pedal while climbing, a locked in feeling through the rough, and excellent overall comfort. My only complaint, which almost merited me giving only 4 stars, is that the 39 feels a bit too snug and the 40 is on the big side. Given how common 7.5 is for women, I wish this shoe came in a 39.5. I opted for the 40 but wonder whether I should have gone with the 39 and hoped the shoe stretched out a tiny bit."
