S-PHYRE level gravel racing shoe that features a durable, lightweight, and stiff TPU outsole, and utilizes our new Pontoon cleat system to deliver an efficient pedal-shoe interface for maximum power output. Off-the-bike walkability is improved thanks to the shoe's sole curve profile, and dual drain holes help keep feet dry on wet weather days.

My feet have found happy homes in everything from the likes of the Northwave Hammer Plus, Specialized Recon 2.0 and Shimano S-Phyre MTB shoes. Those are all good shoes, ones I’ve ridden for 10+ hours on gravel. As far as riding on gravel is concerned, however, I think these are the best of the lot.

Not wide

"Out of the box these shoes were surprisingly long and narrow. I overlayed insoles and these new s-phyre wide are equivalent to older s-phyre regular models. I was recommended by my LBS to try the regular XC-7 and sure enough, this one fits, the shape is better, and the insole is slightly wider than the 'wide' s-phyre. If you're looking for a wider shoe, recommend the 7 series. It's quite frustrating that high end shoes keep getting narrower. Good news is the XC-7 is about half the price!"
