The Perfect Shoe

"Genuinely the most comfortable shoe I have ever put on my foot. Just starting to get into road racing after a decade racing XC, and figured I'd invest in high quality shoes. I noticed Shimano had an option for "wide" fitting shoes and gave them a try. Safe to say I am happy with my purchase and have never been more satisfied with a shoe, on or off the bike. I have very wide feet, collapsed arches, and pretty severe pronation that has required two surgeries to help correct, yet these shoes fit me perfectly with the stock insoles in my regular size. I have absolutely no discomfort and no complaints!"

Not wide at all. Will kill your feet.

"Largest of this wide version is 11-11.5.’ Shoes are not wide at all. These are more narrow than previous additions of this shoe like these five or seven series. Don’t buy this if you have wide feet unless you enjoy discomfort and pain. These shoes were ruining my riding experience. I bought them for myself for my birthday. I wore them once. Now they’re not taking my return. The return policy sucks. Unless you can try these on at a store and they’re not already tight, do not buy them. It will ruin your writing experience. They are more narrow than previous shoes that were wide. Shame on Shimano on such a bad return policy. Now I have to sell these pieces of garbage online and lose money. I’ll never buy anything from Shimano again."

Wide version is not wide at all

"I have a 3E wide foot I have been using the R315 then R320 wide shoes with good success. Unfortunately, they were getting old and worn so I decided to upgrade to the 903E (wide) shoes. I am very disappointed in these. The wide(??) version seems to be quite narrow with a strange fit. I suppose someone with a regular width foot would be happy with these, but I certainly am not. Too bad, I have been using Shimano shoes for quite a few years now but have to look elsewhere to find a wide shoe."
