Not as wide as I had hoped

"Looking to replace my old pair of wide Shimanos that had been used for many happy miles. I was excited to receive my new Shimanos. Excellent looking and great quality. Unfortunately, the wide that I order was not wide enough. I even overlayed the insoles of the old and the new insole, the new insole was 5-6mm less wide. And the less wide fit extended to the upper. Sadly had to return and hunt for wide shoes elsewhere. Sure wish that Shimanos were as wide as they used to be"
