I knew this when I
"I knew this when I bought it, but the shoe is more plastic-like than the more cloth-like Shimano CT-47 shoes I had been riding with. I wish a more cloth-type upper was available in a wide, but these are fine in the meantime."
Assure maximum pedaling efficiency with the XC302 off-road cycling shoe. Featuring a low stack height midsole and snug fit that stabilize your foot for optimal power output during hard efforts. Surround wrapping upper and seamless mid-sole structure deliver a glove-like fit for incredible comfort and a direct-connection with the pedals that translates to you going faster.
Comfort is critical to peak performance. The one-piece upper of the XC302 securely wraps around your foot, yielding enhanced comfort with less space between your foot and the shoe. The re-positioned BOA L6E dial and revised lacing pattern create a secure, hot-spot-free foot hold for a perfectly snug fit.

"Well it took 3 tries but this model and this size might be the best fitting cycle shoes I've ever had."
"Pretty solid shoes, I'm in between 3 and 4 star here. A bit disappointed in overall material of the shoe given these are $140. Materials are pretty cheap and they don't seem like they'll last that long. I suppose that's just the state of everything nowadays though. . That being said, it is about the most road-style shoe you're gonna get for a normal SPD cleat so they definitely look good and do what they need to. Size 50 in this wide version fits me pretty well. For reference in other brands of shoes I wear these sizes: Hoka: 14EE New Balance: 15EE Adidas: 14EE 510 Freerider Pros: 14"
